Jayme's Website

Process

Instructions for this game:
- When you get to the game website, you will click on the picture that says launch game. Once the game is loaded, you will click on "Play the Game". Then fill out your name, gender, and age. Then click enter.  Then read the pop ups that come up.  REMEMBER: You have a maximum of 1800 calories and you will need to meet all the food serving requirements. Plus 60 minutes of exercise.
- Now you get to play the game. HINT: Drag the food item to the food pyramid.
- After you have met all the requirements (all your gauges are in the GREEN) I want you to go back through and write down every food item and calorie amount for the food items that you chose for breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner. Then you also need to write down the exercise activities that you chose and how long you will do the activity for.
-Now after everything is done and all your gauges are in the green, you can click on "Blast off".

- Once you blast off, you can exit out of the game.  Then I want you to go to Microsoft Word and type up your foods with calorie amounts. Make sure all the foods go with the meals.  Keep it organized.  Then I want you to type me a short paragraph about: what you learned from this activity, what you liked about this activity, and what you didn't like about this activity.

After your paragraph is written I want you to get into groups of 3 and discuss your paragraph with your group members.
